Happy Love Our Lurkers Day!
This is the 7th annual LOL day and we’re thrilled to be participating again. The concept is a simple one… to show some love to our silent readers. We know there are lots of them too. On an average day, the A.S.S. blog gets over 2000 visitors. Since we obviously don’t get THAT many comments a day, we are happy to have a specific day where we seek to urge those Lurkers to join in and comment!
We know we’ve all been lurkers at one time, especially in the beginning when first reading new blogs. It can be a bit intimidating stepping out there. Here are all these people with seemingly so much knowledge and adventures in this wide world of spanking and blogging, what more could we add? But when we finally did take that plunge, it proved to be so-so worth it. Can promise you that we never regretted sticking our toes in the water. It proved to be lots of fun and very warm and inviting!
So LOL is designed to welcome lurkers to step out of the shadows. Doesn’t have to be anything earth shattering. Sharing that you enjoy the blog, ideas or suggestions, personal experiences… or just saying hello. The idea is to “delurk.”
But since we love ALL of our readers, we also would like our regular contributors and those who have commented before, to leave a comment too and as a special bonus to each person that comments, new visitor or not, a spanking!
For everyone that delurks (leave a first ever comment on ASS, and we’ll take your word for it) Suzy will get TWO spanks on her bare bottom. And then for those that have commented before, Suzy will get ONE spank. Now you can comment as often as you like, but only the first comment will count towards the spanks 
You get to pick what the spank is with too, and here are the choices:
Hand Spank ~ Dependable and always on hand. You can expect a firm swat. Nothing too hard, but not exactly light either.
The Timothy ~ The Timothy comes from our friends at Cane-iac. It was named in honor of the customer that came up with the basic idea… which is pretty cool for him. This is a clear acrylic paddle with rounded edges. It measures about 2″ wide by 20″ long and 1/4″ thick.
Slotted Wooden Spoon ~ This is a brand new item we picked up at the 99 cents store we went to the other day so it’s not even been used yet, what a way to break it in!
Big 40 ~ Suzy received this on her 40th birthday. It has a soft and cushioned side with a leather print, and then a leather side that has a touch more sting. It is just a touch more though, as overall this is a very gentle paddle. It’s been used purely for light and playful spankings. So think way more meow than ouch.
Heart Paddle ~ A little heart for LOL Day. Really is a little too, as this paddle from Cane-iac is anything but all heart. It packs an amazing amount of ouch and will have Suzy doing a dance. Think wicked mean. It is a lovely paddle though, and you’re 100% free to select it.
Chinese Hairbrush ~ Our friend Autumn brought us this little gift, Suzy SO appreciated it too It has our names in English & Chinese. It packs a wicked little sting and yet is solid enough to be felt deep into the bottom.
Simply state your choice in your comment and that’s what your spank or spanks will be delivered with. If you don’t state a preference, that’s perfectly fine too… we’ll pick for you.
We’ll add up all the spanks and then share the spanking Suzy gets in a later post. Know too that Suzy is more than happy to get this spanking too. We wouldn’t do this if it weren’t fun for us both. So please don’t be shy… and please do leave a comment. We want to hear from you!

I believe my first comments were a result of a LOL day a year or two back, so perhaps this is my commentaversary
A testament to the power of LOL day, I never regretted delurking

A belated Happy LOL Day, Suzy and Todd! Normally I am not so much into wooden spoons, but since no one seems to have chosen it, I choose the Slotted Wooden Spoon so that you can try out your new toy. Have fun!

I think that I have only lurked and check out all your sides. I think that since I never have commented before, that maybe I should be the one to get the spanking. The only implement that I have that you are showing is the lexan, so I guess that is my choice. Happy belated LoL day.

Hi Todd and Suzy. A little late but Season and I want to wish you both a Happy Love Our Lurkers Day especially since we view you as compatriots because of the way we met our spouses online.
We are not lurkers but haven’t commented here in a while so it is one smack for the lovely Suzy. Unless we can claim one spank apiece for a total of two? Entirely up to you but if that is the case Season choses that adorable heart paddle (her description) and I chose the Chinese hairbrush because I have an affinity for using hairbrushes to rosen Season’s rear.

I think I probably have commented here before, but I don’t remember when, so to be sure, you have special dispensation to dispense the two spanks! I’m a fan of the hand, myself, but if Suzy’s bottom looks extra cute with a heart-shaped pink imprint, use that smacker for one smack!

I have never commented here before and actually came by from Conina’s post today to see what you were all about. I may be too late for LOL, but I wanted to say I love the idea.
