As some already know we have decided to separate as a couple. Suzy has remained in Arizona and has started a new relationship… while Todd has moved back to Florida and is staying with his sister. So ToddnSuzy are no more. And while we are not planning to divorce any time soon it is highly unlikely that we’ll ever get back together.
We are still friends and we still support each other, so this hasn’t been an ugly breakup. We share a son together as well as many years filled with happy memories. Those bonds will remain.
The reasons for the breakup are simple in some ways and complex in others. They have nothing to do with kink or spanking though. Those were both always positives in our lives and we both move on as spankos.
What will become of this blog we don’t yet know. We have mutually decided it probably best to give it some time before deciding. The main two options being kicked around though are deleting it entirely or simply leaving it as an archive. We’ll figure that out in the coming weeks.
We do wish to thank everyone that supported this blog through the years. You helped add joy to our lives and we thank you. Good luck to all.

Even with all the tough news I have had to deal with recently pales in comparison to this. This really hits me like a ton of bricks. It is quite a shame, this blog was a favorite of mine and I really enjoyed reading it on a daily basis. I hope you folks decide to keep this blog open as an archive. It was quite an amazing journey and I’m sorry to see it end so suddenly. I wish both of you all the best.

I’m very sorry to hear that you have decided to separate as a couple, Todd and Suzy. I am glad that you are still friends, though.
I absolutely agree with Lea regarding your blog. It would be nice for the readers if it stayed up as an archive. But of course it is up to the two of you to decide which solution suits you best.
I wish you all the best and I hope that we will still see both of you around here in the future, even if you don’t write your own blog any more!

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry to hear the news. I’m sure you both have your well thought out reasons for separating. It’s wonderful that you remain friends.
As far as the site is concerned, this has long been a vital part of the community and I hope all the resources here dating back to 2006 will be here for your dedicated readers and those who find it well into the future.

Wow. I am sorry to hear this sad news, but if you agree it’s best, I certainly won’t try to tell you different. Come what may, I wish the very best for you both.
I wonder if there is perhaps a third option regarding your blogs. You are both prolific bloggers and nothing I read gave me reason to believe that had to change. Why not divide your blogs and each carry on independently? Even if you didn’t post as frequently, you could keep the embers glowing.
Barring that, I hope you will preserve all of this great content. It might make sense to move it back to Blogspot or another free host so it won’t disappear suddenly because the domain registration ran out.

Very sorry to hear about the separation, but I wish you both the best of luck in your respective futures.
Regarding the fate of this blog, I think Bonnie has some good ideas. If you wanted a secure host for the archived material, I might be able to help since I have lots of space available on CSR. Your old posts would become another department there. I’m not sure how this might work technically, however – it would depend on what format your material is in, or could be placed in. Contact me if you want to consider this option.

Hi Guys,
Wow. I had no idea.
Just got message from Todd letting me know. I am so sorry that I haven’t been around much lately, and that I didn’t see this until now. Dealing with my own crap, which seems very silly now in comparison.
I love you both dearly and have missed you, and am so sad about your split. I hope that it will be for the better in the end though. You seem to be handling it well if that’s anything.
In terms of your blog, I vote leave it up. Y’all know I have had the same questions- just leave it or get rid of it all together. I know getting rid of it can feel better in the “closing of doors” “next chapter” kind of way. But this place has been a wonderful beacon in the community for so long- and it would be very sad to see it go.
I love you all and wish you all the best. I will try to do better about staying in touch- but you know me.
