What is Consensual Spanking Day?
~So called “mainstream” media and culture are constantly putting spanking down. Consensual Spanking Day is our chance as a community to stand together and put this thing we do in the positive light it deserves. It’s a chance for us all embrace and celebrate spanking… and it’s a good excuse to have some spanking fun!
How do I celebrate Consensual Spanking Day?
~There are lots of ways you can celebrate. Probably the simplest is… give or receive a spanking! You can also give a spanking related gift like an implement or spanking video. Writing or reading a story… posting on a spanking blog or message board… chatting with a like minded friend… lots of options. The idea is to do something spanking related that is positive and fun!
What can I do to help?
~You can help spread the word! Encourage other spankos to celebrate the day. A chorus of bare bottoms being spanked on 8/8 would be awesome!
We invite vendors to consider offering a ‘Spanko Day’ sale too as a way to say ‘thank you’ to the spankos that keep them in business… and, of course… we’d hope spankos would place orders in return as a way of saying ‘thank you’ for all you do.
Most of all though… we hope spankos will enjoy the day, and that they will do something big or small to celebrate and embrace this thing we do. That’s the best was way to put spanking in the positive light it deserves.

This is a great idea. I can’t arrange a spanking at the last moment but I can blog about some lovely moments past.

Yesterday was the special day and a woman who likes to swat my bikini-clad hiney during a walk giggled when I told her what “special day” it was. Hello Todd and Suzy,
I just found this blog and read this post, and I thought it would be a good idea share with you our idea.
I think it’s great you want to celebrate Spanking with an International Day. We did also, 4 years ago when we were wondering why BDSM had an International Day and we didn’t. That’s when Ana Karen Blanco, a recognized Spanking stories’ writer in the Hispanic Community thought it would be a good idea celebrate it the August 8th (8/8) because we can associate the number 8 with a beautiful butt.
Since then, we have been celebrating the International Spanking Day on August 8th. You can certify this on the links you can see below

I am compelled to write with the purpose to say NO to the idea of declaring July 3 as the international spanking day.
This denial is not capricious. Since 2006, originating in the Rio de la Plata, was established on 8 August to celebrate the world spanking day; this initiative has been widely accepted and since then in Latin America, Spain and several English-language blogs have celebrated this date
I think, humbly, to be noble and respectful to keep the August 8 to hold and NOT try to impose another date

I support each and every word of alespankee. For the last 4 years… we… a large comunity… have been celebraing the 8th of july our happy spanking day.
Don’t you think 8/8 is a nice day? Little round number as round are our little spankable bottoms
