What is your opinion of the video? Is it more sex/porn than spanking? Do you usually find spanking videos arousing… or do you watch them for other reasons? Do you think SpankingTube is a “porn site”?

We were a bit worried that the clip (at over 13 minutes) would be too long for most to bother with. Turned out to be a very lively discussion though, and we thank everyone that took the time to share. Probably should have pointed out that the characters in the clip weren’t pretending to be related, but rather were using terms of respect. There was a little confusion because of that, but it all got straightened out.

Surprising that no one voted that *this* video was porn, because there were certainly some people at SpankingTube that felt that way. The majority actually thought that the video was at least as much spanking as it was sexual though… with a good number actually thinking it was way more spanking than anything else.

I very seldom consider spanking in itself to be sexual but I can assure you that I found this particular spanking to be arousing. If I was involved in a spanking that had that much rubbing and things then yeah it would turn me on. The pain and pleasure thing is just a turn on for me. But that being said there has to be a mix of both. A straight no nonsense spanking with a hairbrush is not going to get me wet or anything like a hand spanking mixed with rubbing and things and the talk. LOL. Thanks for making my non spanking dilemma that much more frustrating LOL.

To me, porn is more blatantly sexual — focusing on f***ing and sucking, nudity, closeups on orifices and appendages, etc. And yet there are those who claim that anything that can elicit sexual arousal is porn, even if it is fetish oriented rather than purely sexually oriented.

My bf likes to teasingly call me “porn star.” Hummph. I don’t think I have the boobs for it, frankly.

I would not describe this as porn but I would say it has a strong sexual element. I think that porn is less about the mental impact than the wham bam, thank you ma’am, (I am trying to be subtle, it is hard to be subtle while describing porn, porn just is not subtle.)

I liked the film very much. I saw it once about a year ago and am too shy to watch it again. It made me blush and despite watching the film through my fingers, I can remember every scene. Clearly it had an impact on me.

Porn (what I have seen of it) doesn’t have an impact on me other than wondering why ladies in porn always have terrible French manicures. Poor things.

As for MY opinion, humble as it may be (I can’t really speak for the people at the office. I could comfortably call this a pornographic scene. Wasn’t thrilled with the “uncle” thing no matter the context and I thought the spankee was a bit TOO responsive (especially early on)… but overall, I think it was great. All the pictures in this week’s Roundtable Wrap-Up come from Far East Media. It was an interesting site to say the least. Their format was basically to start a video by interviewing a cute young woman. She’d share a little about herself and if she she’d ever been spanked before… and what she thought of the spanking she was about to get. Then it was the spanking. Never knew what you’d get there.
