Happy New Year! By the time you’re reading this… given the late time we’re posting on December 31, 2009… it is probably already 2010. We hope it’s a great year filled with lots of happiness, good health and plenty of spanking fun.

Speaking of spanking and the New Year, we’ve already enjoyed our first spanking of 2010. It’s become a tradition for us to ‘ring in’ the new year with a spanking. As the clock counts down and the ball in Times Square drops… spanks match the beat… 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2… and then a big time spank for that final second… followed by several rapid fire spanks afterwards. That gives us the final spanking of 2009 and the first one of 2010.

It’s great fun… and we’ll have a post about this year’s spanking real soon.

Birthday spankings work a bit like that too. Suzy just recently celebrated her 43 birthday… and it was noted during her birthday spanking that she was getting her “first spanking as a 43 year old.” When we moved from Arizona to Florida a couple of years ago… we noted our first spanking in Florida and our first spanking here in this house. Did the same thing several years before that when we bought our house in Arizona.

These aren’t serious spankings by any stretch. They’re playful and fun ones given for silly reasons… but we definitely enjoy them and ‘breaking in’ a new place or marking a special day with a spanking is something we like to do.
